For us each guest is special and we will do our best to make your stay memorable by keeping your space spotlessly clean, offering the best meal, and taking care of your needs such as transportation and guide to visit the rock-hewn churches and short excursions out of Lalibela. We will welcome you at the airport and drop you back. Our rooms are designed and concepted according to the local traditional architecture. The thatched roof and the terracotta stone (identical to the rock-hewn churches) offer a cool and comfortable temperature inside the rooms. The wooden floor is Scandinavian light. Time to relax and enjoy your privacy by reading or listening to music after a day’s outing to the churches and outside of Lalibela.

What we are known for in Lalibela is our compound surrounded by a leafy and breezy garden, which you can enjoy where ever you are; at your private balcony in your room, or enjoying your meal outside.

Lalibela is home to the spectacular and architectural wonder of 11 medieval Rock-Hewn Churches. Unesco included them on the original World Heritage list in 1978, a list of then only 12 sites.

Some of our guests prefer to bring their vehicles with sleeping spaces. They can use the space in our compound and still enjoy what we have to offer; our lovely garden, meal and drinks.
