By road
If you have more time to spend in Ethiopia or a working expatriate in the country, traveling by road for example from Addis to Lalibela could be a jolly-rewarding experience. The Ethiopian countryside scenery is simply breathtaking.
We recommend that you do the trip in two days. Don’t rush it. Stay one night in Dessie, approximately 400 km from Addis. Start early the next day and head on to Lalibela enjoying the dramatic mountainous landscape. You will arrive in Lalibela after lunch. Bring with you, food and drink. Choose a beautiful spot and savour it.
Bon Voyage!
